PDAX Launches InstaPay QR Code Deposits for Banks, E-Wallets
PDAX users can now skip manual account entry by generating InstaPay QR codes through the app or web platform, enabling instant cash-ins directly from any InstaPay-enabled bank or e-wallet.
Key Takeaway
PDAX cuts friction on crypto funding by letting users skip manual account entry.
Philippine Digital Asset Exchange rolled out InstaPay QR code deposits yesterday, giving users a new way to fund their crypto accounts directly from bank apps and e-wallets.
The feature lets users generate two types of QR codes through the PDAX app or web platform. Static InstaPay QR codes contain PDAX cash-in details without a preset amount — users enter the deposit amount in their own banking app after scanning. Dynamic InstaPay QR codes come with a preset amount and can be reused without expiring.
Once generated, users can copy, save, or send the QR code to complete deposits. Any InstaPay-enabled banking app or e-wallet can scan or upload the code. Users confirm the transaction in their own app, and the funds hit their PDAX account through the InstaPay network.
The update sits alongside PDAX's existing cash-in methods. Users who prefer manual transfers can still find their account name and account number in the app's Cash In section. For questions or issues, PDAX directs users to email support@pdax.ph or file a ticket through the platform.
InstaPay is the backbone of real-time bank transfers across the Philippines, connecting major banks and e-wallets in a single network. PDAX's integration means users no longer need to manually type account details for every deposit — the QR code handles routing automatically. The feature went live on April 7, 2026.
🇵🇭 What This Means for Filipinos: Filipino traders using GCash, Maya, or any InstaPay-linked bank can now fund PDAX accounts with a single QR scan instead of typing long account numbers. This makes crypto onboarding smoother for first-time buyers who find manual bank transfers intimidating, especially those entering through OFW remittances or peso savings.
