Mga Bitcoin Whale, Nagbenta ng 60,000 BTC Habang Bumagsak ang Presyo ng 46% Ngayong Pebrero
Bitcoin deposits on exchanges peaked at 60,000 BTC on February 6, driven by large-scale whale selling. The Exchange Whale Ratio hit 0.64, the highest level since 2015, as Bitcoin dropped 46% from its October peak.
Bitcoin deposits on exchanges peaked at 60,000 BTC on February 6 as large holders dumped coins during a 46% decline from October's peak.
The top 10 depositors by volume accounted for 64% of all Bitcoin exchange inflows during this period, according to blockchain analytics firm CryptoQuant. That concentration pushed the Exchange Whale Ratio to 0.64. The metric measures how much of total exchange deposits come from the largest players.
Bitcoin crashed from ₱7,322,272 ($126,080) in October to ₱3,924,919 ($67,582) at the time of reporting. CryptoQuant identified ₱3,194,202 ($55,000) as the ultimate bear market bottom, and prediction markets gave a 57% probability that Bitcoin would hit that level before bouncing back to ₱4,878 ($84),000. Daily exchange deposits over the last seven days averaged 23,000 BTC, well below the February 6 spike but still elevated compared to prior months.
CryptoQuant said the moderation suggests the acute sell-off phase has eased, even as exchange flows remain elevated relative to prior months. Lower exchange inflows put less selling pressure on prices, according to the firm's analysis. CryptoQuant analyst J.A. Maartun told Decrypt in December that this pattern represents the great redistribution, during which Bitcoin held by long-term holders has been transferred to new owners in several waves.
The whale selling pattern extends a trend that started building throughout 2025, described by CryptoQuant as featuring an unprecedented amount of coins changing hands. Historical data shows whale transactions to exchanges carry a 0.47 Pearson correlation with daily Bitcoin price volatility spikes, based on analysis covering January 2018 through September 2021.
