ETH Denver 2026: 8,000 Attendees Lang, 68% Drop From Peak

Umaasa ang ETH Denver 2026 ng 8,000 to 10,000 attendees, malaking drop from peak na 25,000 noong previous years.

Sabi ni ETH Denver founder John Paller, mas umuunlad ang event during downturns kasi bumubuti ang ratio ng serious builders versus hype-chasers. Noong opening day sa National Western Center, may mga pila na bago pa magbukas ang doors despite the smaller expected turnout. Binanggit ni Paller na mas kaunti ang tourists at mas marami ang taong tunay na nag-care sa future ng web3 at user-owned internet.

Umabot lang sa 2,500 ang attendance noong 2020 bago sumabog during the bull market. Sabi ni Unicorn.eth founder Russell Castagnaro, ang mga attendees ngayon ay seryoso sa return on investment para sa sarili nila instead of showing up para sa parties at swag. Inilarawan niya ang atmosphere as back to its roots pero in an evolved state.

Binigyang-diin naman nina NFT CLT co-founders Shana Douglas at Tony Bravado ang intimate feel ng event this year. Sabi ni Douglas, ang vibes daw ang nagpa-balik sa kanya at this year is setting the tone upang maipalakas ang samahan sa komunidad. Sabi ni Bravado, critical ang tight-knit gathering places para sa community building at wellness sa space.

Dumalo si Tyler Gentry, founder ng fintech consultancy NEED-AID, para makita kung paano nagsasama ang DAO cooperative community in real time. Tini-explore niya kung paano ma-democratize ng NEED-AID ang giving para sa nonprofits through blockchain technology.

Nagsimula na mag-plano si Paller para sa event this year right after ng conference last year, rejecting the idea na ang opening day marks any beginning para sa team niya. Nag-launch ang conference noong 2018 at tumatakbo ngayon through SporkDAO para sa community-led decisions.
